Biography
I have written creatively for most of my life, starting with children's adventure books in my early years, and poetry to celebrate family occasions.
​
My MA in Poetry Studies involved writing and performing poetry around my university town of Durham, UK.
​
I have a PhD in Contemporary Poetry which honed my skills in writing both poetry and prose.
​
In 2020 I was selected to be part of the Arts Council England Funded MumWrite experimental writing development course, and this has led to a growing number of publications in literary journals.
